Assignment not getting generated after completion of automation

I am running an Automation Activity in Post of flow action. In that Automation, I am interrogating a Web Application to capture some information and posting back to Pega. Automation is running Successfully without any exception but Pega Next Assignment is not getting generated and Case is getting removed from my worklist.

When i open case from Designer studio, it shows 0 open assignment.

When i run same Automation immediately on same case, i am able to move to next stage and assignment is also getting generated.

Any Suggestion to figure out what is wrong is really appreciated.

I have already Raised an SR for this and its currently in Investigation Phase.

please provide what exact automation part doing. when you told case not created then what happen with the original case which status it's holding. is it move to any pending WB? also you mention change stage so did you call change stage after the automation?
