Assignment no longer exists in Pega Constellation
Hi, I am currently working on Pega Constellation. In my application, I have two case types: one is a parent and the other is a child. When I move from the child case back to the parent case, I encounter an error stating ‘Get Approval’ open assignment no longer exists in the parent case, even though I have that Approval step at the end of the child flow.

If I understand correctly, you have an approval step on the child but there is an error in the Parent case (‘Get Approval’ open assignment no longer exists in the parent case).
Does the Parent case has the wait dependency for the child case to be resolved?
Is the child case resolved?
Can you please provide a screenshot and additional details?

Hi @RameshSangili, Yes I have a wait shape in parent case type and the child case is not resolved if I open the child case instance I can see the open assignment which is moved to the parent case type. Could this open assignment caused by the pxApproval flow Which have 2 assignments? our approval type is Simple. There might be an dummy assignment created by this cascading approval?
I tried some OOTB activity to delete open assignments but still its there.
