Hi Team,Can can you please explain why AQM option is not available for advanced agent?
Hi,
The Auto Queue Management option on the agent ruleform is documented as only being available for Standard agents:

The below post suggests that there may be options that will allow you to set up your advanced agent to utilize the queue manager, but it looks like it may require some additions to the agent activity you use:
Hope this helps!

Advanced agents are used when you want to use custom queuing or do not need a queue. To use auto queue management, a standard agent should be used. You can still create your custom queue classes if desired.
Hi Pavanir6,
I did a search for you.
It looks that "Auto queue management" checkbox has been removed from "Advanced" mode in Pega 7.2.
I just checked it on my Pega 7.2.2 system. Only Standard mode has "Auto queue management" checkbox.
See attached screenshot.
Below is the use of AQM for Advanced agents in prior Pega 7.2 release) :
- When the AQM option is checked for an advanced agent, and if the processing fails it will not be requeued irrespective of exception handling being done agent activity.
- Once the item is processed irrespective of Pass/Fail status agent will never process it again.
- Users can implement queuing as per needs (custom queuing) using advanced agents but the caveat is that the code needs to handle all possible scenarios (locking, exception handling, re-queuing, etc).
In Pega 7.2, the AQM option is removed in Advanced Agent mode.
