Approval/Reject Utility: pyApproval Flow Action and PyApproval Section
I have Approval/Reject Utility in two of the stages in case designer. The approval/Reject Utility in both stages uses pyApproval Flow action and pyApproval Section. I tried to override the pyApproval Flow Action and the section to customize the different views required by different stages even though both of them have Approval/Reject Utiity. I tried to create a flow action and section in framework work class, I found that because the sub flows are in Work-Class in the Out of the box rulesets, I was not able to reference the customized flow action in the flow. I am not sure about saving the flow action and section in work - class. Can you please share your ideas how pyApproval flow action and section can be customized (saved as) in framework work class or not.

You need not refer the customized flow action in flow. It's the same name correct ?
Only customize the flow action and section and leave it as is. It will pick correctly from your framework.
OR As i asked earlier, Are you changing the name also ?

Your approach seems to be correct. You need to override pyApproval Flow action and section in FW classes and rule-set. When you say Flows are in Work- and you are not able to save, which flow are you talking about ?
Your own custom flow or OOTB approval flow.
You need not save any Work- flow after changing flow action.
Also when you say override, are you also changing the name of rules (assuming Yes since you want to use it in two different places). If Yes, then you also need to override flow in FW classes.

I need to change the name of flow action and section. Both of them out of the box are pyApproval. I have two different stages where I need to refer the flow but with different flow action and section name which I cannot save in my application fw layer.
