Work object tables have the application as well as application version as columns. What happens with the active cases at the time I deploy a new application version in Production changing the application version as well as the application stack?
My line of thinking is that for background processes, it will still honor the application version that the case belongs, but for human tasks the rule resolution will rely on the access group of the user ( to which application version it is pointing).
Am I correct?
My idea is to avoid new changes to take effect on old but active work objects.
Yes standard agents will use access group of users, but do you really change access groups when deploying a new version ? this is a really complicated process, don't you simply change the application version in the access group ?
In that case even standard agents would pick up the new version.
