Application Rule guardrail warnings to associate UI, Data and Integration Classes in Pega 8.3

Hi,

We observed below new guardrail warnings(of Category Functional) in Application Rule after upgrading Pega platform  from 7.2 to 8.3. In upgraded platform, we see new configuration settings 'Associate Classes' for UI, Data and Integration under Case&Data tab but I couldn't find any reference in PDN to understand the significance of this section/configuration. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

 

  • This application's data class has been left blank. It is recommended to select a data class in the application.

  • This application's integration class has been left blank. It is recommended to select a integration class in the application.

  • This application's UI pages class has been left blank. It is recommended to select a UI pages class in the application.
