Allow rule check out access to Agent
We are using an activity to create a rule which is in a unlocked ruleset with use checkout enabled.
we are facing the below error when we use an standard agent to run this activity.
Error Message: Trying to save an invalid page: Trying to save an invalid page: page is not valid
.pyRuleSet: Your Operator ID does not allow Rule Check Out making it impossible to save a record belonging to a RuleSet that requires Check Out.
I want to understand how to give allow rule check out access to the agent. When operator runs the activity was able to save the rule but was unable to when the same operator uses an agent to run the activity.

Hello,
You may need to change the AccessGroup associated with the Agent. But it might be better to work with a custom agent I think.

We are using a custom agent of Mode standard, i tried adding an access group in the security tab of agent but it did not help. I understood (after reading an article in community) that agent of mode standard takes the access group from the operator which queues an entry to the agent.

What Pega version is it? Did you changed Rule-Agent-Queue or Data-Agent-Queue instance? Have you tried to trace the agent to verify if your AccessGroup change was considered?

Hi,
Try to save the particular rule which agent is trying to class in the same were you have create the activity and try to run the agent again. This is a known issue where because of Rule Resolution agent will not be able to find the rule in other access group.
