Agent not working
Hi There,
in Platform v8.4 I created an Agent to run an activity every 30 seconds.
But the agent fails to execute. I traced the execution and this is the trace output:

Hi Bhavya,
after changing to Advanced mode it started working, thanks.
I don't get why Standard didn't work as there wasn't much of a configuration to be done, but I saw from Petar that Agents are deprecated anyway, so probably not wise to invest too much time on going into the weeds of how it works.

I don't see any error here. There is nothing to process according to the Agent. You just have a warning probably because you are using an activity

yes, you are right, I am pointing my Agent to an Activity (that runs if unit tested).
Changing to Advanced as suggested below, it started working.

Hi Vigog,
FYI - you can use Job Scheduler or Queue processor instead of the agent as best practice recommendation by Pega (https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/system-administration/configuring-resources-use-job-schedulers-and-queue-processors-instead-agents).
For the Agent issue - can you share what the agent is supposed to do and where do you observe the failure? That can help for troubleshooting.
