Agent Management in Designer Studio

Hi Team,

I am unable to see agent Management in Designer studio. Anyone know from which version of pega it is introduced in Designer studio or is there any specific configuration need to be done to see Agents landing page in Designer Studio?

Expecting the agents landing page to come by navigating below but I don't see Agents option:

Navigate to Designer Studio > System > Operations > Agents

Hello,

I poked around on a couple of reference systems and could find it in 7.2.0 and later systems. Without knowing what version you are on, I think the key is to help you get to that information. If you don't have the landing page, you should still be able to do everything you need from SMA. Try Designer Studio > System > Operations > System Management Application.

As per my knowledge, SMA was included as a part of designer studio from Pega 7.2x onwards rather a war file component. Agent management was earlier part of SMA though Agent scheduling and configuration remains with designer studio since beginning. Hope it answers your query. Kindly notify by marking this post as answered or helpful accordingly for larger PEGA audience.

Hi Saurabh,

Please enable PegaRULES:SysOpsAdministrator in your access group, you will be able to access agents from Designer Studio > System > Operations > Agents.
(it is available from Pega v7.2.1, need to check for the prior version)

Pros: 
1. You could perform start and stop of Agents from Designer studios (instead from SMA). 
2. You have option to start and stop agent on multiple nodes.
