Also would like to add, the first exported excel is of large size, when we 'save as' it to excel workbook format, its size is reduced. So why not it can be of smaller size in first export only.

Yes the scenario is same for all the users and from different machines.

Could you pls confirm , whether its Pega default feature, as the excel is being generated using Pega's inbuilt activity.

@mayankm5528, were you able to solve this, as I am in similar situation. I am processing the data and exporting it to Microsoft Excel 97- 2003 worksheet and everything i save the excel the compatibility checker pops up which needs manual clicking, is there a way to automate or address this issue.
