Adding a link to Pega correspondence for running an activity
Hi, I have a requirement to add a link to all Pega correspondence so that when we open attachments from a pega case and open any correspondence, the link when clicked runs an activity.
(That activity would export the respective correspondence to PDF).
Can someone pls explain how to add a link to correspondence and run an activity on click.

I can think of one option here is to expose a service rest and configure link to call the service rest URL in correspondence rule. The service rest rule will call an activity which can do rest. Make sure your service rest is properly authorized.

You can add a correspondence fragment to your correspondence rule.
For reference you can check WorkLink correspondence fragment rule to know how they called Work-.Open activity on click of link in the email.
Similar to this you can add your activity to your correspondence fragment.
