7.1.9 AutoComplete control doesn't post selected value automatically
I found that AutoComplete control doesn't post selected value automatically as I select it from the list of candidates.
Is this a known issue with v7.1.9 or am I misunderstanding the spec of AutoComplete control ?

Hi
I think you need to associate onChange-RefreshSection / Post Value to save the data on clipboard. It wont get saved automatically.

Is this behavior of auto complete control designed in that way in pega7 or just a bug?
My prior experiences with auto complete back in v 6.3 tells me, auto complete control will post value automatically as you select a value from the suggestion list.

Unfortunately, prhelp document for auto complete control doesn't describe the behavior of "Search result configuration".

Minor detail: OnChange-PostValue only posts back to the clipboard just the one property that the control is associated with. In this example, where multiple properties are being set by the autocomplete, you have to use OnChange-RefreshSection (or RefreshRow if you are in a grid) to get all of those properties back to the clipboard.
