Timeline control Run doesn't show anything
Hello,
I am exploring the Timeline control.
In a Data class where I have defined a data-page I have created a section including a timeline control.
The data-page works fine if tested, I can see a result of 5 records (fields include a Data property). I then configured the Timeline referring my data-page list. I added a Section in the same Class for the Event section, but when I Actions-Run my section, nothing but is displayed.
How can I troubleshoot the problem? I have attached a few screenshots

Not sure if the timeline control works with Preview, Did you check in the portal or case in runtime?

Hi Kanap,
I tried that but I am not making much progress, I think I am missing something in my logic/configuration.
Would you be able to point me to some documentation or give me some instructions to embed the Section in my DATA Class into a different Class?
My end goal is to have the Timeline as component in User Portal (I am in 8.4 and using Cosmos) but as a temporary solution (to check if it works) I'd be happy to have the Timeline in the CaseType Work Class as well.
I am not sure about how to reference my 'remote' Section. Specifically in the Section in the Work Class:
- Page context: Use Data Page or Use Clipboard page. When I select 'Use Data Page' as soon as I select my data page (D_IsolationList) the Class changes from my Data Class (DOC-xxxxxxxx-Data-Isolation) to 'Code-Pega-List

1.To include a section from Data-Class into work class create a page property in the work class that would refer the data class
2.Use embedded section in work class section and select use page context as clipboard page ,specify the class from which you want to embedd the section (Data - Portal) in this case.Specify the page property you created for this class and specify the section name to be included:
3.There are chances for this included section to not be displayed if there is no page for it in the clipboard.To resolve this use one of the ootb datatransform that is called before the section is rendered.We can use pySetFieldDefaults to set any of the properties in the page property(i have used pyDisplay here you can use the same but refer it along with the page property) we just created to a null value so that page is created in clipboard.
Note:Always use ootb data transform pySetFieldDefaults or pydefault , as these are the ones called before section is rendered
