To create a tray icon, you need a UI. If you do not already have one in your project that is always visible, you can create an invisible one by doing the following;

1. Add a new Form to your project.
2. Set the FormBorderStyle property to None.
3. Set the Form Opacity property to 0%.
4. Set the Form ShowInTaskbar property to False.

This will create an invisible form. Add a NotifyIcon component to the Form and configure its properties as you wish. For the icon, I suggest passing the Icon property from your form, so you don't need to try to extract it from our assemblies. If you wish to use your own though, you can select one.

Next, add a ContextMenuStrip to the Form. If you do not see the ContextMenuStrip on your Toolbox, you may add it from the System.Windows.Forms assembly. Add menu items for each of your Applications (adapters). You can add an Exit option (or anything else you want) if you wish as well. Set the ContextMenuStrip property of the NotifyIcon to the ContextMenuStrip component added to the Form.

Next, create automations to handle the click event from each of these menu items and perform whatever actions are needed (start the Applications, terminate runtime, etc.).
