HelpText inline control is automatically get changed into tooltip on checking in the section.
I am adding helptext on the textarea field and using field value for the source but as soon as i save the section rule and do action refresh the helptext control is getting changed from lnline to tooltip automatically.

Is it working when you hardcode the text instead of using the filed value?

Its working fine for me. What is the type of Field Value used? Can you delete and recreate the section rule, without using save as?

For me working fine, What is the type of : Field Name : pyToolTip or pyFieldValue.
I have given the above two types as field names (pyToolTip or pyFieldValue) and another way directly hard-coded value, "Back Ground Help Text." It is not changing for me and working as expected.
Note: Tested in PE 8.6 (PE: Personal Edition)
