Tooltip for DateTime control is not working in 8.3
The localized Helper text Value(specified by Field Value) is not displaying for Datetime fields. it's expecting field value for pyCaption ,however ,it didn't work with pyActionPrompt,pyLabel,pyCaption & pyToolTip as well .
Seems to be Product bug (https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/tooltip-datetime-properties-not-working) and it was reported in 7.2 .

Thanks for posting your query in PSC !
By default, the field values for localization should be used with pyCaption. only the field values with this prefix will be taken in case of localization.
Have you tried to check whether the field values are called in the runtime?

Yes ..It's not working in the run time as well. The same field (Helper text value) for non-date time control is expecting pyToolTip and it's working as expected but not for Datetime control

The problem you reported is identified as a Product Bug in Pega 8.x. The link provided to refer the product bug in Pega 7.2 is a tool tip, it is different from Helper Text design and configuration in Pega 8.x
The problem exist for DateTime and Checkbox controls. The fix is identified by the teams and the fix is going to be available from 8.3.2 patch release. For more information on patch release, Please visit

Until patch release available, Please use the string literal instead of Field value as a temporary local change.
