How to have separate reports and access limited to users?
Hi Everyone!
We have a framework application and have a requirement to built new application with the framework application as built on, Can we use different work pools and can the reports be different such that users of one application should not able to query records from another application.
Any folks, please provide the required explanation regarding that scenario.

Hi @MadhavR06, if you create the report in implementation layer then whilst using the implementation application during run time your report on this layer would be called. Additionally, if you want that the FW layer should not be able to get the data from implementation layer, in the FW RD's "Data Access" tab unselect the option "Report on descendant class instances".
Furthermore, if you have to display the reports on UI for different users, you can create report shortcut rules in the SHARED category and provide the AG names.

Here in my application we will plan to using two implementation layers on same FW layer and data also not visible for other Implementation layer because all data in one layer, maximum all rules are available in FW layer and another end users also access reports. So in that way any conflicts please let us know!

If two Implementation layers are using their own workpools, then "Include Implementation class only" option will work, But If both Implementation layers are using their same workpools, then we can use ABAC Security, So that Report will not get that Data.

When I trying to generate implementation layer on top of FW using 'Implementation class only', but I am unable to create new application getting some FW class table related issue.
We are seeing the below error.
Please contact your system administrator if the problem persists. A Data-Admin-DB-Table could not be saved due to 1 error(s) on it: No classes should be explicitly mapped to pr_other table. This might lead to runtime errors as pr_other table might not have expected columns.
Could you please help me in that , how to achieve in this scenario.

@MadhavR06 Looks like your class is mapped to the pr_other table. You can click on the App from the left panel in dev studio and search for Data-Admin-DB-Table, open the instances and then filter on your class.
Open your class record and map it to the correct table/create one if not already exisiting. Save the record and then go to your class definition and click on test connectivity, it should show that your class and dB table are mapped.
