Open work by handle in activity
Hi all,
we are trying to use the navigation rule to use the "open work by handle" after the action "run activity", but it is not working because it is running all of the actions at once there for it cant find the instance. We then tried to add the obj method to activity, but that isn't working either. Does anyone know how to get the actions in the navigation rule to run in sequential order or to get it to work properly in the activity.

Hi @AaqilaW8, instead of using "Run Activity" can you try using "Refresh section" and call your activity inside it. Also, assuming your activity is providing you the handle's value, try tracing and seeing if the handle's value is actually being passed to the method "Open work by Handle". If you are using a param for this maybe try replacing it with a temp property for testing purposes.

As per Action sequencer logic, though they are executed sequentially; You cannot use the output/any property value obtained/derived from Action set 1 in Action Set 2 as the action sets are loaded at the time DOM is rendered in browser, when Action Set 2 is being executed in the DOM updated properties might not be present.
Availability of these values in Action Set 2 is not guaranteed always. Rather, try refactoring your logic to not use values obtained/derived in Action Set 1 in Action Set 2 execution
