Exporting Pega CHD Interaction History As a near real-Time
Hi all,
I am looking for suggestions on how to export interaction history data to a data lake in near-realtime. My current plan is to use the pxInteractionsStream dataset as the data source in a data flow, which will then publish each interaction record to the data lake via an API.
I am wondering if the pxInteractionsStream dataset includes all decisions, such as those generated in batch campaigns and decisions generated through email tracking (e.g. email opens and clicks on embedded links), or if using the pxInteractionHistory data would be a better option.

It captures interactions directly and is used as the source for the export data flow. The pxInteractionHistory dataset is used for backward compatibility in systems that continue to store interactions in the relational database. However, for near-realtime export, using the pxResponsesStream dataset in a data flow is the better option, as it includes interactions from various sources, such as batch campaigns and email tracking.
