Theme Cosmos vs UIKIT

Hi - I have 8.7 pegacloud and want to create a new PEGA app. I want to create Theme Cosmos application (avoiding cosmos react due to its limitations). Does Theme Cosmos have all the features of UIKIT since Theme Cosmos is also a section based? When I create a New Application in 8.7, wizard does not even offer an option to create UIKIT application. Should we completely stop creating any more new UIKIT apps? Please advice

Hi @GaneshKumarC3200: For any new applications though UI Kit is supported (mainly for upgraded applications) it is recommended to use Theme-Cosmos. In terms of features supported, yes it will support still there are some limitations. Please check https://docs-previous.pega.com/user-experience/86/major-differences-between-traditional-ui-and-theme-cosmos-components?

Worst case if you still need a UI Kit application, you need to update the new application stack and skin manually. Again it is not recommended.
