Importing Pega RAPs from DB2 to SQL
Hi Experts - We are currently on IBM websphere + DB2 & on-premise Pega 717 and now moving to cloud Pega 8.6.1 with JBOSS + SQL server combination.
We are planning to upgrade the on-premise instance to 8.6 and move it to cloud.
1. So the question is , can we create an application RAP from the upgraded on-premise and directly import the same into cloud ? or should we first create schema in cloud and move the RAP from on-premise?
2. Also do we need to covert the data/instances into SQL before importing into cloud or Pega automatically converts and imports into cloud without any issues ?

Answer: Yes. Assuming schema means tables. Because schemas will come from platform itself.
2. Also do we need to covert the data/instances into SQL before importing into cloud or Pega automatically converts and imports into cloud without any issues ?
Answer:No need. Pega upgradation team will takes care if you are moving into Pega cloud.
