Import 5.3 RAP into Pega7.1.8: There is nothing to import-- rules already present in the database
Hi Team,
I am getting following message when we import custom rules RAP from Pega 5.3 environment to upgraded Pega 7.1.8 environment. Please help me in importing this file onto pega 7.1.8 Environment
"There is nothing to import -- the rules contained in this archive are already present in the database"

This is known issue for R-A-P import of 5.3 to Pega 7.1.8.
Create a Dynamic System Settings with the following parameters and try the import.
Owning ruleset : Pega-IntegrationEngine
Setting Purpose : xml/AllowDocTypes
value : true
After import You don't need to restart the JVM
