Table row focus getting lost upon Refresh of the section

I have a click event on table with a Refresh-other section action.

This click event is invoked on clicking anywhere on the row.

As soon as refresh section is done, focus of the selected row is lost.

Client wants focus and in turn the highlighted background color of the row to be persistent.

Any solution please?
