Does changing value of DSS Setting EnableAttributeBasedSecurity require a restart to take effect?
We will be deploying a hotfix to get this DSS change into Production.
I want to know if I need to do a rolling restart (after the DSS change is deployed) for the DSS change to take effect?

The rule of thumb between DSS and system settings:
- System Settings is a Rule instance , whereas DSS is a Data instance
- SS Changes need a restart , DSS usually do not need a restart.
Note that when using the system name and other factors we are creating the requestors in that instances. If we change the System name all the requestors which might be active as well needs to be re-validated so a restart would be required.
A server restart is required only when we Create/Update DSS to override values from prconfig.xml
DSS always takes precedence when compared to prconfig.xml. DSS is to be updated when setting should be generic and prconfig.xml to be updated when the setting should be specific.
