Unable to upload an image to webwb in binary file in Pega 8.2.8

Hi All,

We are getting 'Please upload doc,pdf,docx,txt,xls,xlsx type document' error when we try to upload an image in to a binary file using 'Upload file' button under 'File Control' section of Binary file in Pega 8.2.8.

(And while creating Binary File, we gave 'label'/'ID' as 'ABCD', 'AppName(Directory)' as 'webwb' and File 'Type(extension)' as 'JPG' with out any '.' as prefix to extension, and we are trying to upload ABCD.JPG file) , (Our environment is recently upgraded from Pega 6.3 to Pega 8.2.8). Please suggest a solution ASAP.

Hi Naga , 

Can you please attach the screen shot of the binary file rule , the screenshot of the error and the log files ?

Also can you please run the tracer while trying to upload the image file , and  verify whether there are any other issues which is causing the problem .
