Preview pdf or image file in RecentAttachment utils

Actual situation: When user click on file link in RecentAttachment utils,  the preview pop is well displayed.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Configure the navigator in a way that the download is launched automatically.
  2. Click on file link (such as pdf and image) in RecentAttachment utils.

=> As results: the preview popup is displayed as expected but we notice that the selected file was downloaded with an extension, different from the one  that we added (unreadable extension)

Suggestion:

When user click on file link in RecentAttachment utils, we suggest adding a popup that gives the user the option to either download it or preview its content (even to cancel)

Attachment gadget supports the ability to associate files that can be previewed and files that cannot be previewed. URL is also an option to associate. 

Is the suggestion above...more to provide a consistent experience in providing a preview and then the ability to download (or launch URL) as applicable?
