Word document unable to open

Can any one please help on the below issue?

I can open a word doc using vb script, executed by a bat file,

Details: If i run the bat file, word is getting open successfully, if i execute the bat file from Java program, it is not getting open.

Bat executes fine and vbscript is also getting executed, word application is initiated but the document is unable to open.
