Unable TO OPEN THE GENARATED WORD/PDF DOCUMENT.
Hi All,
i am facing one issue . we have a requirement like attach the work object details in mail. and based on work object details need to create word document and send it in email attachment.
i am able to create word and attach it in mail. but after downloading i try to open it i am getting some error " We are sorry . We can' t open the file because we found a problem with its contents" unable to open the word document.
The file type is .docx and one thing is .doc file type is working fine able to open after downloading.
the issue is with .docx and .pdf file types.
please suggest me how to resolve this.

It looks like something along the way is not treating the files as binary files and is corrupting them in some way.
The files you are trying to open are not ending up empty, correct?
If you provide some screenshots or diagrams of how these files are going through your Pega application, it may help people understand the issue better.

Are you able to generate an example WORD (making sure it doesn't contain any confidential information) and post here ?
I wonder if this error occurs on *all* workstations or just a subset ?
What Locale is your PRPC setup to use, and what Locale is your Windows Desktop using ?
Additionally: what message does WORD give you for the 'Details>>>' bit ? Any useful information there ?
You say WORD/PDF in your title - what happens with your PDF ?
