Email Configuration issue - Disconnect not attempted

Dear support,

Please help me to establish connection to SMTP to send email from PEGA application.

After I provided all details in Email Account creation and test it, I'm getting 'fail' on 'obtain transport object' step.

I have also made a local change in the Dynamic System Settings that needed to be setup with true value Pega-IntSvcs | Email/DisableSecuritySTARTTLS | true

Can you please help me with possible cause of those.

As you are trying with Gmail, did you enable in Gmail to allow less secure apps?

Hi Sharath,

Can you please disable the antivirus if you had at your end and check the email connectivity in the email listener rule. There might be a chance that your antivirus might block the connectivity.
