Unread Notification count not displaying for new Notification
We have requirement to display Notifications to user on Desktop, which has message to work on specific case.
To achieve this requirement, I have created Notification rule and refer it in Send Notification flow shape. Notification message sending to user, but when ever new message comes, unread message count is not displaying.
To display notification message I am using section: pyUnreadNotificationsCount.
Can you please help on this

Could you please run "D_pyGetNotificationsCountForOperator" by passing the required parameters and check if we are getting the correct count there.

As D_pyGetNotificationsCountForOperator is Requester level Data page, When ever user gets new Notification message, pyUnreadNotificationsCount value is not updating.
After Login to the system only, we are getting pyUnreadNotificationsCount value in D_pyGetNotificationsCountForOperator page and displaying correct number. Once we read messages, pyUnreadNotificationsCount value setting to "0" and not increasing for new Notification message.
Please any solution for this isssue.

I am trying to utilize the out-of-the-box pyDesktopNotificationGadget to display real time notifications to users. Use case is that when an admin creates an alert, all recipients should be notified when they log in the next time or in the middle of their session if they are already in the system.
I have used the pxNotify activity to create a notification and assign the respective recipients and that is all working as expected, I can verify in the database. The issue I am running into is the notification icon (the bell with number of unread notifications in red box) does not automatically refresh to pull the new notifications. The portal needs to be refreshed manually and then and only then does the icon refresh/update and shows the correct unread count.
From what I expected this notification icon is expected to refresh in real time and no manual refresh should be needed. Is there anything specific I need to configure to achieve this desired result?

No, for this scenario you need not configure any other rules. As per OOTB, when the notification is received count on the bell icon will be refreshed automatically, did you make any customizations to the "pyUnreadNotificationsCount" section?

Hello,
I have an issue when D_pyGetNotificationsCountForOperator is loaded, presenting the error:

Have you checked the configuration setting for the bell icon for pulse notification settings. Try updating the case type and general notification settings and then check.
