Newbie asks: Created New Application - now where is it?
In Dev Studio, in the "Application" drop down, I select "New Application", gave it a name, etc - and there was no Error that showed up. But then I can't find what I created. I expected it might show up with the other Applications that already exist. Downstream, I want to add Cases etc to that Application.
Doesn't an "Application" create a 'container' for various Case types? How do I access/leverage it?
I can find some evidence of what appear to be adjoiners to the Application. If the app was called 'Foo' and I search on that, I do see the Access Groups and Work Queue settings in the search results.

Check the administrator access group for your application and add it to your operator, the in Switch application you will be able to see that. Or if you make the new access group as default in your operator, you will be able to login to the new application, once you log off and log in.
To check the new access group, Go to Records->Security->Access group and find the newly created access group.

Hi,
When the application gets created, a confirmation message is displayed along with the newly created default operators with the password. These operators are associated with the application which you've created and they have an access group mapped by default. You could try with the admin@ or admin. You can also check for the exact operator name by logging with [email protected]/install Navigate, Record Explorer-> Organization-> Operators, search for the recently created operators (You could easily identify as there would be fewer custom operators only available) Then try logging with that operator you will get the newly created application and all the applications created from this operator id.
