Google User Agent String deprecation in Chrome 81
Google intends to deprecate the “navigator.userAgent” method used to access the User Agent string, suggested to start in March with Chrome 81 (ref article on "9to5google.com" - https://ww.9to5google.com/2020/01/14/google-deprecate-chrome-user-agent-string-privacy/#).
Several questions arise from reading this article :
- Which version of Pega 7.x/8.x use the http user agent string?
- Does Pega use the user agent string to generate/optimize HTML specific to device/browsers?
- Are there any browser versions from the platform support guide that should be avoided with this deprecation due to performance/security considerations?
Please let me know what Pega is doing to prepare for this change.
