Why Decisionhub node classified as Web node?

Hi,

I just wanted to know why DecisionHub node is classified as Web node. From Pega support we got to know that it serves web requests from api based on business use cases. Can anyone please elaborate which type of use cases required DecisionHub node and how Web classification helps that?

Are you referring to Pegacloud env? In general WebUser node exposes http(s) port to outside world, including browser and Service call (Service-REST for the case of PegaAPI). However, the actual work could be done on nodes with other node types (e.g., Batch, Stream, ADM, RTDG etc, these are all decisioning related services).
