How to handle called activity exception

Calling another activity B from A and tried to handle exception out of B, if any, via trans condition.

But trans cond is not triggered, PFA. Please advise a generalised way to handle called activity exceptions in general.

Hello,

So many ways for doing this. You could ever use HasMessages WHEN or On Exception option as well. Maybe you can look into Work-.svcAddWorkObject activity to have a look. You can find quite a lot of activities handling exceptions Out-Of-The-Box in your system I'm sure.

I'm not too sure if I understood the background.

Do you mean you have a Java exception in activity B. Or you're trying to set the activity status or set a message in the activity; And you are subsequently wanting to check for that in activity A?
