Is it possible to set the default locale on thread level.

my scenario -

if i open 2 work objects with same requestor, then i am expecting en_US for one work object and en_GB for the other one. I have set that and in the UI it is showing correctly but the decimal properties not able to save the values and showing 'this is not a valid decimal value'. The decimal properties always taking the requestor(operator) level default locale.

any solution for this?
