Pega 7.4 Upgrade

Hi

I am upgrading from 7.1.5 to 7.4 and have referred the documentation.

1. What I under stand is in command prompt I have to navigate to the properties files location and edit the properties file and run the .bat file as instructed .. correct?

2. Since I will not have DB write access, can I follow only "Appendix C — Optional: Generating and
applying DDL" and work with DBA? If I do this, nothing else is required?

Pls confirm

Please check 'General user permissions' section for the required DB permissions for Deployment User, Base User and Admin user. 

You can apply DDLs manually using Appendix-C, if you have skipped this by selecting 'Bypass Automatic DDL Application' option while using the Installation and Upgrade Assistant (IUA)
