Ruleset Type -- Shared

Hi All,

I am not able refer the Ruleset of Type "Shared" , except in prerequisite of Rulessets. I tried to refer in Application Rulesets, Application-Component, it is throwing error. Even the application is throwing error when we add the Ruleset which has shared Ruleset as prerequisite.

So in what are the places we can refer the "Ruleset of Type Shared"?

Hi Renuka,

 

Shared/Component rulesets can not be referred in the application ruleset.

Previously there used to be a section in the Application Definition ruleform (Just like Enable Components section is present in 7.4 version).

Component/shared rulesets on the application ruleform were intentionally deprecated. The expectation is that shared/component rulesets should be built as Component records(Designer Studio > Application > Component) and added to an application as such (in Enamble component section).That approach allows your shared ruleset to have a set of meta-data associated with it to describe its usage in a more structured way than was possible from the ruleset ruleform.

Hi Vikash,

Even I tried before that in the Application-Component (Designer Studio > Application > Component) .There also it is not accepting :(
