issue with explicit PegaSearchIndex folder

Hello all,

In Pega v7.4 when we update explicit search directory in PegaDisgnerStudio-> System->Settings->search -> Search index host node setting it keep on changing to default one ( going to "PegaTempDir" folder). Is there anything we need to take care or if any one face this issue, let me know.

Hello Sreecharan,

Kindly confirm if you've set DSS "indexing/explicitindexdir" to pega temp directory.

You can set it to location as per your need which will enable the engine to host the index in the specified directory.

its known issue in Pega v7.4... issue fixed after adding to JVM arg.
