Planning to change the Logs, PegaSearchIndex and cache files to new FileSystem

Hi,

Logs, PegaSearchIndex and cache files are in pr_temp file system all are in one folder. When we ask clear cache and restart JVMs to MW team, they are clearing the entire folder and after restarting it is again going for indexing and taking more load on the system. So we plan to move to new File system and individual files for logs, pegasearchindex and cache in a single folder. What is the best approach to do this.

Hello,

You can use "indexing/explicitindexdir" to direct index files to a required file destination.

Hi Pawan,

Thanks for post. I verified difference b/w these locations. the indexing/explicitindexdir is different location and Search index file directory is different location. which one will take it? what is the difference between both.
