Tabbed Layout Group Behaviour

I have a tabbed layout group and in one of the tab we have a modal dialogue on submit of it the layout is getting refreshed and 1st tab is selected. I need to be stay on the same tab in which modal dialogue submits.

any suggestions please..

What is the version of pega that you are using?

I see that there are few hotfixes available for this:
