Why do se wee Validate rule as activity while Tracing

If we are calling a validate rule thorugh Obj-Validate in activity, why do we see that as a activity while tracing

Because Validate Rule is just slightly redesigned Activity Rule. You can even look into class Rule-Obj-Validate and check Direct Class inheritance - Validate class inherited from Activity class
