Quick links from Windows Task bar

Hi,

Is anyone triggering automations from when a user clicks on a quick link items from the Windows taskbar? I do not believe it is possible since the runtime is loaded after windows start.

Any thoughts or idea?

If you want to create a shortcut to an "automation" from the task bar, then you can look at service enablement of an automation. You could create a shortcut to execute the specific service call that would trigger the automation. Detecting a click on the task bar or quick links is not possible within an adapter. If you wanted to detect a click on another icon, I would suggest using it getting started as the trigger.
