How do I prevent fields in a table from popping up a browser alert window for Required fields?
Hi,
By default, all fields in a section, when set as Required, will show a RED error message at the location of the field if it is empty.
However, in a table, those fields that are set as Required but empty, a browser popup message appears instead. This is very disruptive.
How do I make those field validation within the table behave like the rest of the fields? (I still need to have the "*" to indicate that it is required).
Thanks and regards,
Jacky

Hello,
I do not have this popup you are talking about from UI Gallery:
What table do you mean? What Pega version is it?

Hi,
If you have that type of section and launch it in CaseWorker Portal, it would have that issue. Especially Date field.
Let me know if you can also see that in the CaseWorker Portal.
Thanks and regards,

Hi,
Thanks for checking.
May I know how did you source the data?
I was using a Datapage and populating using table and with inline editing enabled.
I also noticed that the behaviour is different, by right, there should be error messages below the field itself, but yours doesn't have too.

Hello,
I'm just using the one from UI Gallery. Can you try using the same one to check with your configuration.
