StartMyDay preferences - File configuration

We have used startmydaycontroller in a RDA solution. User preferences are saved in a json file in %appdata%\OpenSpan. In the current implementation, users are allocated a desktop from a pool and C: drive contents are deleted with logoff/restart. Is there a way to change the path for this file ?

Can't find any option in RuntimeConfig.xml or startMyDayController properties/methods.

Configuration was available in 1081 and above in RuntimeConfig.xml. StartMyDay block.

It wasn't available in a older version 1038 I was using earlier.
