Need help to open work object using URL
Hi All,
I have requirement where I have to open pega work case by hitting URL, for this I am using snapstart concept mentioned in the below url:
For this I created URL specific to our server but when I am hitting the url only portal is getting open, not the case which I have mentioned in the URL.
My url is like below:
http://pega.test.com:8080/prweb?UserIdentifier=MobileDev&Password=Secret==&pyActivity=pyMobileSnapStart&action=openWorkByHandle&InsHandle=Wb-Wbtest-Work T-1
NOte: USer portal is opening successfully, but we need to open the case.

Hi Tushar,
Can you change the "action" in URL to uppercase 'A'?
Your URL should look like
http://pega.test.com:8080/prweb?UserIdentifier=MobileDev&Password=Secret==&pyActivity=pyMobileSnapStart&Action=openWorkByHandle&InsHandle=Wb-Wbtest-Work T-1

Hi Tushar, As mentioned before changing the "action" in the URL to "Action" should fix the issue. If not try adding "+" in front of the work object and see if it solves the issue:
I was able to access using the the url on Chrome, FireFox and Edge. Do you see this issue under a specific browser let us know?

Generally, when we tried to open the Pega link from any external system it's asking an operator to login. In Pega we have few correspondence fragment and control to serve this purpose, so can you search for "Worklink" in designer studio than you will get those rules PFA.
Earlier we have similar kind of requirement where we need to open the case item from outlook mail so we used WorkLink correspondence fragment to serve that purpose and it's working.
Even If you have a similar requirement try that.
