Local Action (Overlay) Doesn't Shows Up

Hi

I have a simple requirement to display an overlay after clicking a button (I cannot use modal dialog). On the action, I put Refresh-This section beforehand.

After click upon the button, the overlay doesn't shows up. It works if I'm not using Refresh-This section, but in my requirement, this is required. I tried to put Refresh-This section after the local action. The section *did* refresh, but somehow the data doesn't get populated on screen.

Can anybody suggest something to satisfy this requirement?

Hi,

Could you place the components apart from the button and the related fields in another section, and use refresh other section instead of refresh this section?

Please find the attached document for screenshots of the same.

Hi, Try to move the refresh other section into the action of "Submit" button in the overlay and see if that works.
