I am working on a checkbox that is in read only mode, it has an "Action set" with and event "Click" related with a "Refresh-This section". The "Show value as" value in the "Read-Only Format" section is set to Image.
If the checkbox is set to be shown as an image, the the action set is not triggered, however if I set to "Text" it works perfectly. The thing here is I have to show the checkbox as an image not as a text while it is on Read only mode.
I'm not sure if it is an expected behavior because when there is no icon/image for the checkbox (it is shown true/false depending on the property's value) the action is performed even though the control is in Read-only mode, what I'd expect in this case is no action in neither icon/image nor text.
Thank you for your test in 8.2.1 version anyways :)
This was a very special customer request that I was not able to resolve as I tried in this post, So finally I resolved this with the following workaround: Putting two icon/images into a layout, under a Label, that simulates being checked/unchecked in Read-only checkbox control, and set up visible option depending on a property. Then when the property is true, checked Read-only checkbox control image is shown and vice versa, also I configured the action-set and that's it!
