Micro Focus Rumba Emulators automation
HI,
I Started to work on Micro focus Rumba emulator which is Linux based application
Rumba version : 9.4
Open span which I'm using is : 8.0
Steps which I followed to automate :
- Created Open span solution,
- Added Windows adapter to recognize Rumba application,
- Added General Text adapter to Recognize Rumba Session,
- Text adapter properties, I have populated the Session ID, Full DLL path of Winhllapi.
While I try to interrogate the Unix screen , Please see the attached Snapshot for the ref

Hello Balaji,
Thank you for posting your query to PSC.
Usually this error comes when the session Id is not set properly.
The short name of session Id that you have given in the properties should be the same as set in the emulator for the session.

Thanks for the response !! I have populated the session ID which is generated in Rumba Application , Moreover I'm completely new to the Text adapter thus help me with steps if you have an complete idea about Rumba integration. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Actually I were able to do the integration with rumba application in enhanced mode. with that I can able to launch and automate "Mainframe display", "AS400 Display" , "HP Display". but I'm not able to integrate "Unix display" alone , what are the configurations needs to be changed for Unix application(Please see the attached reference of Properties which I used to automate)
