Need Thoughts on downgrading Pega Sales Automation 7.3.1v to 7.2.1v

We have implemented a proof of concept on Pega Sales Automation 7.3.1v and now we have the deployable package with us. We are trying to deploy this into the 7.2.1v application and we are facing deployment issues

I understand it is not recommended. We need to see the ways to get it done. Please provide your thoughts and any known issue and resolutions if any.

              This would not be a perfect solution. However we can perform the following things. I assume you are importing your RAP into 7.2.1v application. I haven't tried this suggestion before
 
               1. Note down the deployment issues.
 
               2. Read the release notes and find the gaps between 2 versions. Such as what is new features introduced in 7.3.1, and segregate the troublesome rules. 
 
               3. Enable advanced mode while importing the RAP, and skip the troublesome rules from the gaps and release notes.
 
               4. Still if there are any issues, skip those rules and proceed with the import.
 
               5. Post successful deployment of partial rules, create the troublesome rules in 721v.
   
Please let me know if this helps. Could you please also post the deployment issues below?
