FileListener/Agents automatic fail over strategy

Hi Team,

We have 10 custom agents and 1 file listener enabled on a single JVM in production environment (PRPC731).Could someone please help with the below mentioned details.

1) Batch node classification process to enable the custom agents and File Listener.

2)FileListener/Agents automatic fail over strategy if the batch node in discussion crashes down.

Hi Pradeep,

 

1).For Node classifications on custom agents and listeners - Refer to this Knowledge article to configure one.

2). I don't think there is an inherent fail-over strategy built for node-specific background processes like Listeners/Agents. You may enable the agents/listeners on a backup node apart from the batch node and use Notification settings(under System-> Agent Mgmt tab) to send emails on agent failure.
